I am a plumber and want to know – Are disabled showers easy to install and setup? I have been approached by a customer who is having their bathroom converted, to look at installing a special disabled walk in shower for them. They have had some other work done for them in adapting other rooms for use by them because they are having trouble maintaining full mobility after a car crash. This has left them with a lot of joint pain and restricted movement in their knees and lower legs so they have decided to improve their bathing facilities by converting their bathroom and installing a special shower. I have found numerous places that sell them, but would like to know if they are east o install and plumb in. If so, they will make the job much easier to complete and take a lot of the worry out of things for my customer.
